My exhibition on 20th and 21st November in Combroke Village Hall was a great success. I was joined by Joy Coulbeck, painter and portrait artist, and Angharad Price, who exhibited her range of vintage settings gifts. Again it was lovely to see so many people, some new to my work and many others who returned to purchase further items. People welcomed the opportunity to purchase my pottery for unique Christmas presents. Refreshments and cakes kindly provided by village friends helped raise £180 towards Rhiannon Price’s sponsorship target of £2,000 for Beating Bowel Cancer when she ran in the London Marathon in April.
Combroke Arts and Crafts and Cream Teas, Sunday afternoon, 29th May 2011 at Combroke Village Hall
I exhibited at this event alongside other members of the newly formed Combroke Arts and Crafts Group. The event provided an excellent launch for the group. Combined with the Village Hall Cream Teas it turned out to be a very social occasion for villagers and the many outside visitors the event attracted.
